Our organization, COM (Communist Association) Preparatory Committee , convey the warmest solidarity greetings to you and your organization.

Last June, several communist groups such as CECOP (the Congress of Establishing Communist Party), The National Congress Aiming at the New Worker's Party, Worker's Network, JVP (People's Liberation Front) Japan Committee, People's Revolutionary Forces (Philippine) and IEG ("Internationalism" Editing Group), and individuals held the rally for celebrating 150th anniversary of Communist Manifesto in Tokyo and Osaka. The rally adopted the Joint Appeal in which one of three aims was mentioned in the following sentences.

* Japanese communists, divided into many factions for a long time, should take large steps toward cooperations as soon as possible. Kicking off sectarian attitude, our activities are sure to be cooperative with vigorous open discussions so as to gather various kind of communists.

After the rally, several communist groups and individuals have held a series of meetings in order to discuss how to unify divided forces. In accordance of the Joint Appeal, we are now preparing for founding COM (Communist Association) on June 6 as a joint action of several communist groups and individuals to unify revolutionary forces for the first step in Japan.

I'm very happy if you or your organization send a solidarity messege to COM. It is appreciated if you distribute this e-mail to another leftist and revolutionary organization or individuals.

Now that the crisis of the global capitalist system has been deepen, it forced proletariat and toiling masses to bear the burden much more. Furthermore, capitalists and imperialists in world scale try to crash antagonistic states as well as revolutionary movements as a world strategy such as NATO/US bombing of Yugoslavia. Our only solution to the problems is the socialsit revolution to overthraw the capitalist system through anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist struggle.

In Japan, sit in and demonstrations have surrounded Parliament against passing three bills aimed at accomodationg the revised Japan-U.S. military cooperation guidelines. Activists of COM joined the anti US-Japan military alliance struggle and also staged a demo against U.S. embassy, condemning NATO/US bombing of Yugoslavia.

It becomes more important for us to engage enthusiastically in strengthening the international solidarity activities. COM (Communist Association) will take every effort to fulfill our duties as internationalists.
